Isle of Skye Bridge
The road leading through the West Highlands of Scotland twist and wind, and at many times can barely support 40mph travel. The mountains and lochs greet you as leave the lowlands and enter one of the most beautiful places on earth. After quite a long, arduous trip, you know that you are ‘almost there’ when you see the long, narrow Isle of Skye bridge. If it’s a windy day, there could be warnings of keeping your speed under control. But unless you’re driving a large delivery truck or camper van, the national speed limit will be fine. Just like most all the roads in the Highlands of Scotland, use some common sense – and Enjoy The View!
