Fort William and Lochaber Banks

Searching for a bank near Fort William? We can help! We’ve personally had accounts at two different banks on High Street in Fort William, with varying success. Although we cannot comment on the financial stability of these institutions, we do know good service when we see it.

The Bank of Scotland staff have always been friendly, and quick to address any of our questions or concerns (very few concerns). RBOS in Fort William, on the other hand, are not a bank that we can recommend in good conscience. After 12 months of trying to open an account, being told we needed this paperwork, then   only to find then needed something else entirely, we gave up on them. Never have we seen a bank that tried so hard NOT to get our business!! HBOS was all to keen to help us open an account, on the spot! Your mileage may vary.
